Pictures of my new office space - the old guest room.

I had planned to move my desk upstairs by Christmas, but I was unwell for weeks. In the end I moved it up the week before Christmas, but had not decluttered the room much first. Or the desk. So now I have quite a good room, some shelves and cupboards, but a lot of clutter and it feels totally disorganised. There are miscellaneous boxes everywhere!

This is my before album. As you can see the desk is not too bad. There is actually room to work on it. I will need the whole space though once I start lesson planning again. I tend to have lots of books and files open all at the same time then.

Mostly the desk is clear because I have put everything that was on it, on the floor! 

I have created a lot of space recently - there is room on these shelves now, and this odd shaped cupboard is much less full than it was. 

I urgently need to sort out wiring. I have so much stuff that needs plugging in. 

       This is all out of the little cupboard, 

wool,patterns and some fabrics.

 Every so often I cull it. But I hate 

parting with it. Often I want 

something just after I have chucked 

it away.  For now I will just try 

to consolidate, and give away

 just some of it.
